As a lodging owner, I am so grateful for the incredible work of the Ad-Hoc to support Lodging with an opening plan that tries to balance all aspects of public health, including necessary education, safe places, services for visitors coming into Mendocino County regardless, and to support essential livelihoods and work. Our viability depends on all of us working with what is realistic, human and meticulously safe. Ad-Hoc has worked endless hours to accomplish that with Lodging.

Can someone ask if we believe that gyms will require masks WHILE working out? I know when entering the building, but will they be required while working out inside? Can we place equipment outside and workout out side?

    Good morning,

As we safely reopen business in our county I would encourage you to allow single family vacation rentals to accept guests for the summer. These are extremely safe destinations for families wishing to vacation on our coast while avoiding the contact and crowding that can occur in hotel or camping venues. As owners we can personally communicate to each and every guest what rules we need them to follow in our county to keep our neighbors safe.

    Thank you.
