Fort Bragg is working on the Plateau project which will allow 20 units with services being made available for those with the need of housing and services. Why isn't Fort Bragg being given the opportunity to prove we can have a successful housing/service program without spending these funds that could be used for services for those with mental health issues or as a backup fund for the time when it is found there are no monies available from the State/Federal or County Governments.

MACFAGO strongly supports this effort to provide much-needed housing on the Coast, preferably in the City of Fort Bragg or nearby area. This initiative will help support the County's action plans as laid out in the Housing Element also up for decision during this meeting.
