5b) Discussion and Possible Action Including an Update Associated with the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19); and Provide Possible Direction Regarding Essential Services in Mendocino County, Operational Preparation and Response, and Associated Countywide Economic Impacts

1) Could we please add the numbers of vaccines given and number of doses in supply to the COVID-19 graphic? Or simply as an add on to the graphic.
2) An added plus would be to add to the published graph any scheduled vaccine or testing clinics (for example, calls to people via an unidentified number may not be picked up, groups of people not employed by the county e.g. other IHSS workers may not be contacted, etc. etc.).
3) This does not solve the issue entirely but it is a start: multiple mediums and formats (radio, print, online, social media - all at least Eng/Span bilingual) to get info out to people in language and format they can easily access.
Planning ahead for the same as tiers open up - use flyers and announcements through foodbanks, senior centers, schools and all community-based agencies.
