I ask that the Board of Supervisors authorize the submission of a CDBG application for Planning and Technical Assistance funding for the Ukiah Valley Senior and Community Center project. This project will provide much needed services to our local seniors, veterans and disabled adults. It will also provide Mendocino County with a facility to aid in the event of a disaster. Thank you for your support.

I respectfully request that the Board of Supervisors authorize the submission of a CDBG application for Planning and Technical Assistance funding in furtherance of the Ukiah Valley Senior and Community Center project. This project is vital to meeting the needs of our local seniors, veterans and disabled adults in the years ahead and will also serve Mendocino County as an emergency venue during excessive heat days, during power shut-off events and to aid in the distribution of meals and food supplies during evacuation events. Thank you for your support of this project. Diana Clarke, former Executive Director for Ukiah Senior Center, Inc.
