3a) Noticed Public Hearing - Discussion and Possible Action Including Introduction and Waive First Reading of an Ordinance Amending Mendocino County Code Chapter 6.36 and Chapter 20.243 Regarding Cannabis Facilities (continued from April 19, 2021)

We are a licensed manufacturer and distributor of cannabis products in Oakland, California. We are thankful for your leadership and development of logical permits in Mendocino county and encourage you to continue drafting ordinances that have the public benefit in mind.
We source raw material from small cultivators throughout your county in Covelo, Redwood Valley, Willits, Potter Valley and Anderson Valley. All of our products not only list these farms by name, but also the county and the specific appellation in which they are grown. We pride ourselves in business practices that support small farms and the families that rely on them.
Mendocino county is known throughout the country for its heritage farms. Large scale grows i.e. 5-10 % of parcel land will not provide that quality nor will it continue to allow small scale agriculture to thrive in your county. We hope to continue working with sungrown, organic cultivation partners. Our company depends on high quality inputs and your communities depend on small farm operations. Please make the right decision and say no to mega grows and vertical integration. This money will not stay in our communities nor our state.
