Dear Honorable Supervisors, Again, we appreciate the work of CCAG & MCA. There so is much to dissect when it comes to the taxes. While you are in the process of restructuring the framework, this Board may want to consider allowing farms to deduct state cultivation taxes from their gross sales. Currently cultivators are being double taxed by paying 2.5% to the County on the State Cultivation Tax. Marty had brought this up to the former Board repeatedly. Supervisor McCowen & others agreed with him in open session somewhere along the way, but the change was never made.Thank you again for your time on these cannabis matters. Sincerely, Laura & Marty Clein
