I am writing in support of the CCAG memo to extend the opening of the cannabis portal for those applicants that are actively in the portal.
I would also like to express my concern with the lack of clarity and seemingly random and ever changing requirements in relation to both the permit application as well as the Appendix G. Others have outlined specific examples of the the corrections being requested by the Planners. The lack of clarity, ever changing requirements, ridiculous correction requests leads one to wonder if the Planners have any real understanding of CEQA. There seems to be absolutely no over site from the Board of Supervisors regarding the concrete implementation of this program.
I am in favor of a Standing committee to assist the Cannabis Program.
Thank you

I am a concerned resident of Mendocino County. Our community is suffering because of the mandates being passed down by Public Health. The response that our county has had, has been completely unnecessary for the small threat that covid-19 has posed. Small businesses have lost revenue, healthcare workers have been fired, and parents are now under stress due to the oncoming covid vaccine mandate for children. At this point, the truth is evident, so I am not going to throw information at you that is accessible online.
We need you, the board of supervisors, to start standing up for our core American values ie basic individual freedoms. The more you all continue to approve these measures, the more destruction and division will come into our communities. Mendocino County is beautifully diverse in thought, culture and ways of life. We know you, our elected representatives, have the power to stop these oppressive and unscientific mandates because Dr. Corin is an At-Will employee You appointed.
When will enough be enough with the destruction and division in our community? When will you do your job and protect the people you represent? We as a community are waiting for your response, but are prepared to move forward without you. Please make the right choice.
