I support closing Dogwood Terrace and creating a policy for DOT to follow to close access to roads and turnouts prone to illegal dumping.

We are Dogwood Terrace owners. The blockade makes more of a problem than solving a problem. These are the same issues that have been present for decades in Brooktrails. Putting up a blockade will not deter dumping. The people who are dumping will just throw their garbage over the blockade or walk around it or dump it down a ravine or find other areas in Brooktrails to dump. A blockade will decrease our ability to maintain and improve our property. We are unaware of alternate routes in case of an emergency and then we may not be able to get past the blockade in an emergency. We believe a better, more efficient option is to put up cameras that detect motion & can obtain evidence like license plates, faces and illegal actions that can be used against the law breakers. If residents are able to have cameras and other counties are able to put up cameras that give notification when someone is on their property or in the area, we think it is reasonable that Brooktrails authorities could have the same type of notification from cameras without blocking our property and just causing the illegal acts to be moved to other areas in Brooktrails. Thank you for your time. Fred Villagomes and Charlene Costin
