I am a employer in the city of Ukiah and wholly understand the issues that employees have finding a sensible place to live in Ukiah. However, I am also a resident of the city and would like the city to be livable. More car centric housing is not a solution. If the State Street bike baths were extended to the subdivision and some of the space facing State Street were used to construct a grocery store, this could be quite sensible; residents could fill many of their needs without using a car. However as it is, this is car centric housing that will have a deleterious effect on the community as a whole and I appose it.
