MCA would like to congratulate our locally licensed cannabis operators who recently won awards at the 2023 California State Fair. The Fair will be held from July 14 to 30 in Sacramento, and Visit Mendocino, along with members of our local cannabis community, will be on site to educate attendees about our exceptional offerings. Hello!
Today is a very special day for Mendocino County! The official opening of the California Welcome Center will take place at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center. Our beautiful area has been designated as one of 23 State wide California Welcome Centers. This is thanks to the hard work of The Greater Ukiah Business and Tourism Alliance and Visit Ukiah. GUBTA Executive Director, Katrina Kessen, her staff and board have worked to make this dream become reality.
California Welcome Centers are strategically located across the state, staffed with experts who can provide resources and information that inspires visitors to explore a destination's greater region. The signage on the highway designates Ukiah as our region's center and the City of Ukiah has strategically placed directional signs directing tourists to the visitors center downtown. The GUBTA offices are staffed 7 days a week to greet visitors and direct them to the area's features and attractions. Tourists will be provided with maps, business listings and brochures showcasing our unique community. This is truly a proud day for Mendocino County!
The public is welcomed to attend this once in a lifetime event today from 4pm to 6pm at The Ukiah Valley Conference Center 200 South School Street in Ukiah.
