2b) Discussion and Possible Action Including Informational Update from the Mendocino Cannabis Department (MCD) for both the Local Equity Cannabis Grant (LEEP) and the Local Jurisdiction Assistance Grant (LJAGP)

While on a short vacation to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary last week, I received a call from Sarah at MCD to inform me that we had until next Wednesday to provide a complete budget including quotes and proposals.
Last night is the holiest night of the year and today the holiest day of the year for Jewish people and we are scheduled to fast beginning tonight and all day tomorrow. I don’t recall ever working during this holiday.
The reality of this requirement is sinking in. We were in process with Elevate Impact when the process halted.
There was uncertainty about budget item eligibility and understanding of some of our budget requests and the Elevate Impact representative was doing some research and was supposed to get back with us.
We and others would appreciate some additional time to submit the requested budget and documents, even a few more days?
