Having the Assessor-Clerk-Recorder basically announce Donald Trump's unconstitutional third term running for president was super awkward. The amount of time that was spent to reassure people of our county to not worry and that his name will be there in two years was very strange/inappropriate.

For the same reasons I urged approval of the 45 day moratorium on data centers, I urge all five supervisors to support this two year urgency resolution. We know little about the environmental risks of operating data centers in rural areas. We applaud the County’s courage to stand up to this industry and say we prefer to learn more about how data centers operate in other jurisdictions and the environmental impacts before opening the County up to any development of this type. Thank you.
